Enjoy and Relax @ Changi

Enjoy and Relax @ Changi

Have an unforgettable transiting experience with an exciting variety of facilities and state-of-the-art amenities. Explore everything that Changi Airport’s Terminal 1, 2 & 3 have to offer, from lush gardens and free movies, to a play areas and gaming zones.

Entertainment

If you like it fun and interactive, head to the Entertainment Deck, located at Terminal 2's Transit Area. The room’s outstanding range of features include a movie theatre, an MTV booth, a music area, the Xbox 360, the Xbox Kinect and Playstation 3!

Have an equally enthralling time at the Xperience Zone. Your waiting hours will pass by in an instant with the exciting TV programs, gaming stations, and free Internet surfing kiosks. If that sounds like the way you want to spend your transit time, look for the Xperience Zone at Terminal 2’s Transit Area, behind Lee Hwa Jewellery. Visit the movie theatre at Terminal 3 Transit Area too.

How about trying your hand at something more traditional? Using woodblock rubbing, a popular Singaporean art form from the 50s and 60s, you can create your own woodblock prints and bring them home as souvenir. Or, immerse yourself in South East Asian cultures at Symbolic Asia, through learning about the symbols they have used through history. Bring home an embossed symbol, make your own geometric patterns, and solve puzzles!

No laptop? There are over 500 internet stations with 24-hour free Wi-Fi internet connection, so it’s easy to stay connected with your loved ones, or keep up to date with business deals from within Changi Airport.

Transits can be tiring when travelling with children, especially when they are restless with tons of energy to spare. Good thing Changi Airport has many facilities to keep them entertained while you go shopping or take a much needed rest in between flights. For children, what can be more tempting than an inviting playground to run, climb, and jump around in? There’s one Children’s Playground in every terminal, and they’re suitable for children from ages 1 to 12. Another form of exercise can be found at Science@Changi, a collaboration between the Singapore Science Centre and Changi Airport. Your children will be fascinated and intrigued by the interactive science exhibits, math puzzles, and the twists and turns of the Gravitram, which might boggle your mind too.

Relaxation

Sometimes, there’s nothing more welcome than a comfortable and quiet place to rest. Don’t worry, you’ll find plenty of that at Changi Airport. Voted as the best airport in the world to sleep at, it’s no surprise there are napping facilities at every terminal. Get a quick shut-eye at the Free Rest Areas, which are equipped with leather snooze chairs that come with head and leg rests for a super relaxing rest.

If you wish to rest a little longer, try the paid facilities such as the Rainforest Lounge in Terminal 1, Transit Hotel at Terminal 2, or The Ambassador Transit Lounge at Terminal 3. These places are convenient and affordable alternatives to accommodation available outside of Changi Airport.

Nature Trail

Sit back and relax in the midst of nature at any of our Airport Gardens. Be enthralled by the beautiful butterflies at the world's first Butterfly Garden in an airport. Come stroll through our open-air rooftop Cactus and Sunflower Gardens and take a breather from the hustle and bustle of travel to meditate at the Bamboo Garden. Or watch our beautiful koi swim in our Orchid and Fern Gardens. Click here to read more about the gardens at Changi.

Sightseeing

If you have at least 5 hours to spare, take a Free Singapore Tour with your family and learn more about this island nation. The Heritage Tour brings you closer to some of Singapore’s icons such as the Merlion, the Esplanade, Little India, Chinatown, and the Marina Bay Sands. The City Lights Tour will be available during evenings, for you and your family to be mesmerised by the lights and vibes of the Marina Bay Waterfront Promenade, Bugis Village, and one of Singapore’s most iconic building, the Raffles Hotel. These tours are excellent ways to take in as much of Singapore as possible, especially if you don’t have the time to do so by yourself. If you can spare the 5 hours, don’t hesitate!
