Dearest baby, while my peers are striving to climb the corporate ladder, I had taken a step back to resign from my job for you. During the nine months pregnancy, I suffered from morning sickness and gestational diebetise. I had to prick my fingers 7 times a day to monitor my blood sugar. My foot swell like elephant leg making it difficult to walk. I was bedridden during the last trimester as you are growing too big for me to walk. I spent 31 labour hours in pain and finally give birth to you naturally without pain killers. All these are worthwhile seeing your sweet and innocent smile. Happiness can be felt deeper with meaning with all that struggles we have made it through together. Happiness does not mean leading a smooth sailing life without worries. I made it through with you!
