The photo in this submission is not just merely a photo but a “picture” of hope and life-reaffirmation that speaks for them–no more, no less.
During the typhoon, my urge to shoot was not really to see the province suffering from this natural calamity. My urgency was actually coming from the idea on capturing how people deal with situations in “decisive moments” and how human spirit is best represented and shown that is life-reaffirming.
